The Department offers a two-year M A/M Sc course in Applied Operational Research.  The broad objectives of the Course are to provide the necessary theoretical background and wide practical experience through case studies and industrial training/project work. The course also lays emphasis on development of Computer applications based on the latest optimization, production control, PERT/CPM, Finance, Marketing and Simulation models to fulfill the needs of industry and management of public undertakings.  Students of the previous batches have been absorbed by a number of multinational corporations, through campus placement. The Department has a Computer Laboratory with the latest hardware and software.
